Recently returned from a center Oxfam, where we left two bags of everything: jeans, jackets, t-shirts, sweaters and even a tie, it's amazing how many things come out of a cabinet, things almost forgotten, the first things you love and then discarded, not too faded colors but part of a past time or just a taste changed, but things pretty much new there, left for months, sometimes even a year, maybe only because it linked to a memory, a period quell'immancabile or scruple of saying " then sometimes I'll wear . But then remain there.
We filled two bags and we took them to a nearby center Oxfam: collect clothes of any kind, those are left in good condition to the sale of second hand, all that was damaged is sent for recycling. Revenues are invested in humanitarian projects. There we found the kindest gentleman to greet us with a serene smile, already committed themselves to select from a pile of clothing. We had a tour of everything that was on sale second hand and it is impressive to see what new clothes almost has been accumulated (the easy cliché, but the majority were women's clothing, it must be said). To know before I buy them all they need to go skiing, and possibly something more.
Proprio mentre stiamo per uscire dal centro Oxfam, una signora entrata dopo of us take a sweater just added to the selection of second hand is mine, 9 euro on sale from Zara, made no more than three times a year, almost brand new. Maybe you have bought, maybe not, but at least no longer a cabinet to keep company to silence and maybe who knows, will be sold and will contribute to a humanitarian project. Not bad.
